At Centennial, there are multiple clubs for you to join, and if you’re looking to get more involved with the school, you should consider joining Spanish Club. The club focuses on encouraging Spanish culture, and embracing the diversity found in our school and community.

“We need to be more aware of different cultures,” Jason Zhu, Spanish Club president, said. “We should be culturally aware of the cultures around us.”

If you join Spanish Club, you will have opportunities to connect with other students and discuss how to encourage the idea of being involved with other cultures. Zhu also said that students need to learn how to respect other ethnic groups and this club promotes the idea of culturally connecting with others in the best way possible.

Don’t be discouraged if you are not fluent in Spanish or not educated in their lifestyle; anyone can join Spanish Club, and students should take advantage of this cultural opportunity.
