FRISCO, TX – The sounds of banter among friends, the consumption of copious amounts of SunnyD, and best friends snapping selfies together to document a special day. Some woke up early to catch the start of breakfast service, while others sauntered by, grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading to class. That was the atmosphere at Senior Sunrise this year. The breakfast social, hosted by the CHS Senior Booster Club, was on Aug. 15.
Senior events like Senior Sunrise are events that seniors look forward to throughout the year. Many find great joy in partaking in these events, utilizing them to de-stress and enjoy their final year of high school.
Senior Sunrise was an enjoyable experience for many seniors as the 2024-2025 school year began in mid-August. Senior Caleb Williams shared his thoughts on Senior Sunrise.
“I enjoyed this event a lot and thought it was the perfect kickoff to senior year,” said Williams.
Events like these also help spur excitement for upcoming events later in the year, such as Senior Skip Day and Senior Field Day, some of the most highly anticipated events of the year.
Many past seniors have also shared their experiences with senior events with current seniors.
“I’ve heard all good things about Senior Skip and Field Day [from past seniors], ” said Williams.
With lots of excitement in the air surrounding senior events, it certainly seems like many seniors are fired up about upcoming senior events.
