Leaving It All On The Dance Floor — The Centennial Sweethearts’ Spring Show

FRISCO, TX — The Sweethearts’ Spring Show is one of the most highly anticipated drill team events of the year. More than just a showcase of talent, it’s a celebration of team spirit and the seniors’ final bow. This year’s show was entitled Sweethearts Extravaganza!, presenting a vibrant mix of routines by the drill team and cameos from the dance classes and color guard.

The event is the final time the year’s team will perform together, making it especially meaningful for senior members. “This year on Sweethearts means everything to me,” said First Lieutenant Molly Hatcher. “Spending my senior year with such special people is something I will never take for granted.”

The show featured solo, duet, and group performances, with one particularly emotional moment for Hatcher being her duet with fellow senior Adelia Servant. “On Friday night, two of our teammates yelled ‘We love you Adelia and Molly!’ backstage so loud during our performance,” Hatcher recalled. “It just brought an instant smile to my face and made me realize how incredible the privilege of dancing and performing really is.”

The applause,  sweat, and tears are all a part of what makes the Spring Show so special. After the curtain fell on their last performance, the 2024-2025 team embraced each other for a final time, marking the end of a chapter for some and the beginning of one for others.
