The 2015-16 basketball season has kicked off for both Men and Women’s with both teams grabbing a win in their opening game. The Boys team was forced to play a extended, five-quarter game against Denton Guyer after the third opponent Highland Park was a no-show.

The Titans were down most of the game but were able to pull it off in the fifth and final quarter, with Wesley Zuckerman putting the game away with three consecutive 3 pointers in the 5th.

The girls matched the excitement the next day by scraping by Arlington Lamar 63-60. Mallory Adams dominated all game and led them to a win.

Starting point guard, Mireya Saldana, suffered a shoulder injury that could sideline her for a long period of time. Best wishes go out to Saldana as she recovers.
