White Elephant Party

This holiday season brings around a multitude of different holiday parties. One of the main parties that can be seen is called a White Elephant. White Elephant’s are Christmas parties where people bring gifts within a predefined budget. Everyone in the group takes a number and goes through a circle choosing a gift from the middle or they may steal a previously selected gift from another. These gifts can range from previous Christmas gifts or even small gag gifts.
Everyone gets a chance to steal or take one from the middle. This is a fun holiday game that creates a roller coaster of emotions ranging from joy and laughter to amused anger.
Many clubs at Centennial are having a white elephant party including, French Club, Spanish Club, Cen10News, and the International Thespian Society (ITS). This can even be a fun game to do with friends and family.
