Merry Main Street

The 25th annual Merry Main Street was held Saturday, Dec. 5, in Frisco Square. It featured three stages of musical entertainment by FISD elementary school choirs, a kids holiday store, free carriage rides and numerous food and merchandise vendors.

Free photos were taken with Santa and his reindeer as they arrived on their annual trip to Frisco, a fun time for families.

The holiday light show, an outdoor ice rink, and the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree were also featured.

Mayor Maher Maso and part of the CBS 11 crew were speakers, and Miss Frisco, Centennial’s own Heather King, made an appearance.

Although Merry Main Street is over, the fun doesn’t stop as the holiday light and music show continues until Jan. 2, the outdoor ice skating rink is available until Jan.3, and horse drawn carriage rides run every Thurs. through Sun. until Jan. 3.

A petting zoo and pony rides are available every Friday through Sunday until Dec. 23, and for those dreaming of a white Christmas, snow flurries fall every 15 minutes Fridays and Saturdays.

A special event night will be held on Dec.19, with trackless train rides, a parachuting Santa, visits with Santa, a 4-lane inner tubing snow slide, and holiday treats.
