School Spirit

Centennial High has been trying to bring more school spirit to the table. Is the effort paying off?
Skylar Burke is a freshman at Centennial High School. She experienced her first football game yesterday, claiming there was no energy in the stands.
“I think wearing school clothing to games really brings school spirit,” Burke said.
A sophomore at Centennial explains that more people show spirit for Hogwarts than Cen10.
“We are so grade oriented that it takes away from our school spirit,” Emily Walker said.
Lilee Simpson, a freshman, says she has no school spirit. However, she is involved in school sports.
“If I wasn’t on a team, I’d be a total loser and not know anyone,” Simpson exclaimed.
Fellow freshman, Bryce Ford, had a lot to say.
“Nobody seems to be proud of this school,” Ford said. “They don’t try and not a lot of money is put into clubs besides band and football.”
