On Wednesday September 29th, Blue Bell and Aspen Hills, a third party company that supplies edible cookie dough, had voluntarily recalled all ice cream containing cookie dough due to a worry about a listeria outbreak. The ice creams that were recalled include Cookie Dough and Cookie Two Step. This is the second time that Blue Bell has recalled their ice cream.

Both ice creams had already shipped to multiple states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. As a precaution, Blue Bell has also taken these ice creams off the shelves in Texas.

So far no symptoms or illnesses have been reported.
