On Wednesday, Sept. 21, band students across the Frisco, Prosper, Plano, and Little Elm school districts competed to get a spot in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 24 Jazz Band. Of the 19 people from FISD who made the band, seven are from Centennial.
Congratulations to Joey O’Reilly on the alto saxophone, Dylan Brandon, Caleb Dixon, Thomas Mello, and Taylor Wood on trumpet, and Jude Morris and Omar Urrutia on trombone. Joey O’Reilly, Caleb Dixon, and Thomas Mello will be advancing to area later on.
