Winter Guard Wins the Gold

Emma Bittner, Co Editor-in-Chief

This past Saturday, April 1st, the Titan Varsity Winter Guard competed in the North Texas Color Guard Association’s Championships.

With a phenomenal performance, our Winter Guard secured the gold medal, winning by almost an entire 2 full points! In addition to winning gold, the Titan Winter Guard was the highest scoring Scholastic unit out of the 56 schools who competed, earning the UIL 5A Highest score award.

This is not the first time that CHS has been a medalist, rather their seventh, winning 6 gold and 1 bronze.

Be sure to congratulate these students when you see them for their outstanding efforts this past weekend!
