Regionals Update:Henry Frizzell placed third at the regional golf tournament earning a trip to the state tournament in Austin May 22-23. |
District Update:
Henry Frizzell shot 75 the first day and was 3 shots shy of the lead. On day two, he shot 71 and sealed the victory with a 20-foot putt for birdie on a par 3 hole. He also shot par on a difficult par 5 hole with a surrounding water hazard.
Frizzell beat the defending district champion, Luke Whitney of Wakeland by one stroke.
