The Titan Speech and Debate Team had a great showing at the Richardson TFA tournament this past Saturday. There were over 60 schools represented with numerous entries in each event. Centennial represented with excellence and class having several students break in semi final rounds and several moving onto finals.  As a result, Centennial has three more students attending the Texas Forensic Association State Championship in March.  The team is already doubled qualifications from last year.

Brian Lee- 2nd place in Foreign Extemp

Gary Frankel- 2nd place in Domestic Extemp/ 3rd place in Congressional Debate

Peter Chung- 3rd place in Foreign Extemp/ 4th place in Congressional Debate and served as presiding officer ( * Qualified for TFA State in Congressional Debate) 

Daylen Meyer- 5th place Prose Interpretation

Lucas Moulden and Daylen Meyer- 2nd place in Duet Acting ( * Both qualified for TFA State) 

Taylor Carmichael and Emma Donley- 6th place in Duet Acting
