In thirteen years, there hasn’t been a flu outbreak this contagious and this deadly. With hundreds of people dying from this flu outbreak, it causes us to question our health and wonder how we can prevent getting this deadly virus.

Each week the number seems to go up of the number of cases and deaths due to the deadly flu. Districts across the nation have had to close down schools to deep clean the campuses as more than 10% of their student body reported being absent due to the flu.

School officials and doctors have recommended in order to prevent getting or spreading this virus, to stay home if you feel any of these symptoms: fever/chills, have a cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches and feeling fatigue. If you start to feel sick, go to the doctor to get checked out.
