This past Tuesday, Patrick Minihan, another Cen10 News Reporter, and I had a “friendly competition.” We asked the students, teachers, and admin who was the more physically attractive reporter.

While it first started off as a non competitive wager, it evolved into a heated and extremely competitive adventure. Although it didn’t matter who won, I realized later that what we were doing spoke volumes of where we are at in society today. People judge us basically off our appearance and not on who we really are.

In the world today, many find it hard to find the good in people because of the climate we live in the United States. The true moral is to seek and find the good in people and being to find hope again in each other.
