Spring 2016 Fashion Trends Blooming

Spring is just around the corner, which means it’s time to put away the sweaters and turtlenecks and break out the Bermuda shorts and rompers. Like always, floral prints are making a big reappearance this spring, especially floral print dresses and blouses. However, this year, it seems that everyone from Gucci to H&M is putting flowing, floral print dresses constructed of sheer fabrics on the runway.

Another print that you will find on pretty much everything is stripes, especially striped T-shirts. The simple horizontal striped shirt was a huge staple wardrobe piece in the 70’s, and is back in style again this year. The overall laid-back, casual style of the 70’s is revamped this season, with the reappearance of suede, fringe, and bell bottom pants.

Aside from reinvented 70’s fads, you’ll be seeing a lot of bold prints and colors this spring. Graphic T’s and sweatshirts are also in every trend-setting this store, especially ones with funny or social media related messages. A huge surge of sequins are also on the way this season, along with plenty of gorgeous pastel and neutral handbags.

To sum up what’s in store for the fashion world Spring 2016, I’d say the theme is bright and bold. From big floral patterns to simple stripes, all of the upcoming season’s trends are vibrant, fun, and retro. So, whether you prefer to shop and Forever 21 or Nordstrom, be prepared for a fabulous spring fashion season.
