The third place ranked Centennial High School Varsity Softball Team ended their season with a double loss to Wylie High School in the best of three UIL playoff games.

This season, Junior Pitcher Natalie Scolaro pitched over 2,000 pitches and had a total of 151 innings.

As the seniors part from Centennial, they will miss a lot of things about High School Softball.

Senior, Abby Walsh agreed.

“I will miss a lot of things,” Walsh said in a text message. “Starting with my teammates and coaches, they make everyday interesting and we were one big family.”

I’ll miss the competition high school softball brings and I loved being able to play for the school and make the Titans proud.

The head softball coach, Stephanie Pels enjoyed the season as well.

“I truly enjoyed every moment of our season,” Pels said in an email. “It was incredible to watch our growth over the course of the season!”

Pels mentions the teams goal and the seniors.

“Our Titan Softball goal for 2016 was to make playoffs and this years team did just that with the leadership of our two seniors, Raven Burkhart and Abby Walsh,” Pels said.

Pels wants to thank the Varsity team.

“Thank you to our Titan Varsity for being #allin from start to finish this season!” Pels said.
